Larry Jones brings over 30 years of experience in the securities industry and has been with Western since 2017. He specializes in long-term investment strategies tailored to each client’s needs—whether it’s growth, income, tax-advantaged investing, or preserving principal. His expertise spans mutual funds, corporate and municipal bonds, and other income-producing investments designed with a goal to support financial stability and confidence.
Larry began his career in 1985, previously serving as a principal with Interpacific Investors Services and Financial West Group before joining LPL. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History from Colorado State University.
A Grand Junction resident since 1974, Larry came to the area with IBM and quickly became a leader in both business and community development. He’s served on numerous local boards, including the Grand Junction Economic Partnership, Museum of Western Colorado, The Art Center, and the Grand Junction Lions Club. He’s also co-founder of the Riverfront Trail System and played a key role in completing the Las Colonias Amphitheater project in 2017.
Larry and his wife Marty have been married for over 45 years and have two adult sons. Together, they enjoy golf, fly fishing, skiing, and traveling.
